" 1. Interior Design Policy "

This policy outlines the terms and conditions under which 19 FORTYNINE DESIGN ("we", "us", or "our") provides interior design services. It covers aspects such as cancellations, deposits, additional fees, confidentiality, use of photos, liability, and more. By engaging our services, clients ("you" or "your") agree to these terms.

**2. Deposits and Payment Terms**

2.1. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure our services. The deposit amount will be specified in your service agreement.

2.2. Full payment for the initial quoted service scope must be completed before the commencement of any design work or purchasing on behalf of the client.

2.3. Additional supplies or changes to the scope of work requested by the client will be quoted separately, and approval must be obtained before any purchases are made. Full payment of these additional costs is required before acquisition.

2.4. Late payments may incur late fees, detailed in your service agreement, and may result in a pause or termination of services.

**3. Cancellation Policy**

3.1. If you wish to cancel our services, written notice must be provided. The non-refundable deposit will not be returned upon cancellation.

3.2. Cancellations made after the design work has commenced may be subject to additional charges based on work completed up to the point of cancellation.

**4. Additional Fees**

4.1. In-person consultations or services provided outside of the specified service area will incur additional travel fees. These fees will be clearly outlined in your service agreement.

**5. Confidentiality and Privacy**

5.1. All virtual consultations are private and confidential. We will not use or share any information discussed without your explicit permission.

5.2. We may take photos during the design process for our portfolio or marketing materials. These photos will not include any personal client information unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

5.3. Clients who do not wish for their project photos to be used must submit a written request specifying this preference.

**6. Liability**

6.1. We are not responsible for any damage or issues caused by subcontractors or additional parties hired directly by the client during the interior design process. We recommend ensuring all third parties are fully insured and reputable.

**7. Scope of Work**

7.1. The scope of work will be detailed in your service agreement, including but not limited to design consultation, space planning, color scheme development, furniture selection, and purchase coordination.

7.2. Any changes to the scope of work must be agreed upon in writing by both parties and may result in adjustments to the project timeline and costs.

**8. Governing Law**

8.1. This policy and any disputes arising from our services will be governed by the laws of North Carolina

**9. Amendments**

9.1. We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time. Continued engagement of our services after such changes constitutes your agreement to the new terms.
