Because custom items are typically quite expensive and take a long time, we don’t handle anything custom. We are happy to give you our advice regarding your custom project.
We can discuss with you the pros/cons of built-ins, choose from fabric samples for your window treatments, or even suggest a direction for your cabinetry/tile. But we don’t measure for size or manage the project.
Yes. Inspiration images help your designer best understand the look that you are hoping to achieve.
Prior to your plan, we will ask you to fill out a brief questionnaire that will give us a better idea of your likes/dislikes and have a section for you to insert 4+ inspiration images.
Our website has an Inspiration Gallery that features popular looks from recent clients. It is a great place to get started.
We source from hundreds of different vendors, depending on your budget and style preferences. We only use items that can be purchased online. ( Unless with you in the local area )
Most of the items are also offered in retail stores so you can go sit on/jump on/experience the pieces (i.e. Room and Board, Ikea, Crate and Barrel, West Elm, Target, Anthropologie, Macy’s, and many more.)
Certain pieces, however, are only available online (i.e. Overstock, Wayfair, Viva Terra, Rugs Direct, All Modern, Burke Decor, etc.)
When we source from online-only vendors, we try to use sites that have free/low-cost shipping and free returns.
We do not recommend things that cannot be found online (i.e. things from small boutiques, thrift stores, or auction houses) as we cannot guarantee that the items will still be in stock when you are ready to buy. We also do not usually use flash sale sites because their items sell out quickly, and they do not have flexible return policies.
At some of the vendors, we are eligible for a trade discount of up to 40%. You can access those discounts through our Designer Discount Shopping Service.
Never! Nor do we have special affiliations with only specific vendors. We recommend pieces that are perfect for your space based on your style/budget. We look for the best deals on every item we select and send you the direct link on the retailer’s site.
We are all about transparency and affordability and we will never pressure anyone to spend more than their budget allows.

2. Design Questionnaire: You will be asked to fill out a detailed design questionnaire to provide information about your design preferences, goals, budget, room dimensions, existing furniture or decor items, inspiration images, and any specific requirements they have for the project.
3. Measurement Guide: To accurately assess the space and create a design plan, depending on the service purchased you may receive a measurement guide with instructions on how to measure their room and provide the necessary dimensions to the designer.
4. Design Package Selection: You may be prompted to select a design package that best fits your needs and budget. This could include options such as a basic design concept, a more comprehensive room design, or a full-room makeover with furniture and decor selections.
5. Communication Platform: We may use a specific communication platform for design services, such as email, video conferencing, or an online design portal. You will be informed about how to communicate with the designer throughout the process.
6. Design Deliverables: You will be informed about the deliverables that you will receive as part of the design service, such as mood boards, floor plans, furniture and decor recommendations, color schemes, styling tips, and a shopping list with links to purchase items.
7. Design Timeline: We will provide you with a timeline for the design process, outlining key milestones such as the initial design concept presentation, design revisions, final design delivery, and any follow-up consultations.
8. Design Presentation: The designer will present the initial design concept to the you through a virtual meeting or presentation. You will have the opportunity to provide feedback and request revisions to the design plan.
9. Design Revisions: After the initial design presentation, you can request revisions to the design concept based on your feedback. The designer will make adjustments as needed until you are satisfied with the final design plan.*
10. Final Design Delivery: Once the design is finalized and approved by you, the designer will deliver the final design package, including all design documents, recommendations, and shopping links for you to implement the design in your space.
11. Post-Design Support: We may offer post-design support to assist the customer with implementing the design plan, answering any questions you may have, and providing guidance on executing the design in your space.
